I have just heard that one of our local Catholic lay people, Isa Bradbridge, who has been keeping the East Timor situation before us for several years, and has spent some time working with the people there, has been captured by one of the militia groups. He had only recently returned to East Timor to be with his pregnant wife Ina. Although they are just two among the many thousands at risk, please remember them in your prayers for East Timor. Our heavy hearts are becoming heavier by the hour.
